Kate Bestgen – LMT #18094
Kate’s life changed when she received her first massage. She knew immediately she wanted to perform body work. Kate is a knowledgeable licensed massage therapist practicing since 1999. Her favorite service to provide is the Body Renewal Triple Treatment. Kate first came to Cannon Beach for an internship at a cooking school. She fell in love with the area and decided to put down roots. During her free time she enjoys cooking, reading, and hiking with her dog.
Patty Crocker – LMT #11360
Patty’s journey with body work began when she read a study on “Touch Deprivation.” She was fascinated by the correlation between physical contact and mental health. Patty is a well-seasoned licensed massage therapist since 2005. She enjoys the process of assisting clients with shedding everyday stress through body scrub treatments. The cooler weather and beautiful landscapes drew Patty to the Oregon coast. She enjoys hiking to explore the area during her free time.
Karen Morrison – LMT #023480
Karen is passionate about assisting people in healing and helping them to thrive. Entering the field of body work felt like a natural progression. Karen been a licensed massage therapist since 2015. She loves performing the long flowing strokes of the Lomi massage technique. Karen enjoys the atmosphere of small coastal communities. She practices self-care and mindfulness through yoga and water therapy.
Raymond Reilly – LMT #26355
Ray grew up in Las Vegas, and is a veteran of the service industry. Massage is something he has always been passionate about and in 2016 he finally got the courage to attend massage school. He will tell you it’s the best choice he ever made. Ray has honed his craft in spa work since 2017 and been with us here at Elements by the Sea since June of ’21. Kara Doane – LMT #24215
Kara surfs the Oregon coast waves in the summer and rides the Rocky Mountain slopes in the wintertime. Kara is a traveling licensed massage therapist earning her license in 2016. Her interest in massage began when she was seeking pain relief. She was looking for a better understanding of pain and its causes. Kara enjoys guiding clients into relaxation during Swedish massages. Kara’s happy place is on a surfboard or snowboard.
Meghan Scowcroft – LMT #26731
Meghan graduated from the Spa Tech Institute in Plymouth, MA in 2016. Growing up in Stoughton, MA, her passion for massage began at the age of 7 with the help of her grandmother. Over the years her passion has grown. She loves helping people with pain management and the ability to bring relaxation in this hectic world. Meghan has an intuitive flow that allows all of her massages to be customized to each clients’ individual needs. Some of her expertise really come through in her Therapeutic Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, Relaxation, and Prenatal Massage. She looks forward to any opportunity to help people with these services.
Tammi Smith – Spa Director
Tammi finds joy in seeing guests take time out to reset and rejuvenate. She delights in working alongside skilled individuals with a common goal of creating a relaxing spa experience. She left her city life behind in search of new adventures on the rural Oregon coast. She loves getting cozy with her dog and a good book in her free time.
